Install Mikrotik with Virtual Box.

Well in this post I will share how to install Mikrotik with Virtual Box.
Let's start to install ...


1. Open Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager, klik New

2. It will appear early in the Oracle VM VirtualBox as shown below. This ready to use, and then click New then will display a dialog box and you can fill in the Virtual Machine Name by name, here I fill with the name "Insan_Mikrotik". Then select Other for the operating system and select Other for its version, when done select Next
 3. The next step, a dialog box will appear to regulate how much RAM will be used for our virtual machines. I'm here to allocate around 64 MB, and then click Next
 4. VirtualBox provides the option to create a new hard drive or using the existing hard disk as Disk Start-Up. By default, it is set to create a new hard drive. Then let it go by default, then Next
 5. In the next dialog box, select the VDI (VirtualBox Disk Image), then select Next
6. Then in the next dialog box, there are two options to choose Fixed size size (fixed size) or dynamically allocates (dynamic size) allocated according to your needs, if I choose the size dynamically alocated, and select Next
7. In the next dialog box to set the size of the Virtual Disk, but by default VirtualBox allocates 2GB of disk space for the new system. Then select Create
8. Then the display will appear as below,
 9. Then select Settings it will appear the window, and then select Storage and click on the IDE controller, image Disk (empty) then Add Master Mikrotik then click on the image and select Disk Choose a virtual CD / DVD disk file to find the location where the master Mikrotik
10. So on the original IDE Controller "empty" has filled the master of Mikrotik that we have filled
 11. Then klik OK
 `12.Click Start to begin to install Mikrotik
 13. This will bring up a dialog box "Welcome to Mikrotik Router Software Installation"
 14. Then type "a" to give the sign on all the options available, So every option there will be a sign of cross
 15. After that, to continue the installation process type "y"
 16. Wait a moment until the installation is completed

 17. If the process had stopped * do not press Enter because it will restart from the beginning ", select Device CD / DVD Devices uncheck mikrotik-5.20.iso



 18. Then select Machine Reset

19.Then came the dialog box, provide a check on the "Do not show this message again" so that the notifications are not displayed anymore. Then choose Reset. And Wait until the login dialog box appears, then the type Mikrotik Login admin
 20. It will appear at the beginning of Mikrotik
 21. Then press enter, and Mikrotik ready for use
